Precision made driving hammers, also known as Farrier hammers using Alloy 4150 Metal. Made in the USA farrier tools by Anvil Brand. This 8 oz hammer has a serrated head and is roughly 50 Rockwell hardness. We hold +/- .005" tolerances on these heads and install them on a high quality wood handle, approximately 1-1/8" diameter by 13" overall length. Nicely proportioned hammer, high quality, moderately priced. Anvil Brand driving hammers are one of our best selling farrier tools.
