The classic long left hand hoof knife is the original The Knife, now called the Classic. It is unsurpassed in quality and sharpenability. This makes it very durable and reusable for many trims. The Classic long hoof knife features a 5-1/2" long wooden handle and a 2-1/2" drop blade. The blade is about 3/8" wide (somewhat narrower than our The Knife version) and sharpened at the bottom of the drop. This knife is 100% made in the USA with high quality steel, making it easy to sharpen. We heat treat the blade to a consistent Rockwell "C" hardness. The highest quality hoof knife on the US market.
