A creaser (also called a fuller) is a blacksmithing tool used to stamp a linear groove into the ground surface of a hot horseshoe. This groove houses the horseshoe nail heads, allowing them to sit flush or recessed so they do not wear down or catch on surfaces when the horse walks.
